Center Parcs

Mon, 07 Jan 2008 06:54:38

Thanks for all your e-mails asking where I've been of late. I've just returned from Center Parcs Whinfell Forest. A nice four day break by Scotland with the family.

room at center parcs

Out arrival at Center Parcs was interesting. With the one way roads and everyone trying to park up, one wrong turn and you'll have to start from the beginning. Once we arrive I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the shally. (comfort plus)

another room shot at center parcs

There were 5 adults and 2 kids but enough room for us all.

picture center parcs

January weather in England is not the best. Today we managed to have a good walk around the park and even the sun made an appearance.

lake at center parcs

Picture of the lake where you can do canoeing, pedal boats and sailing although due to the weather the boat shop was closed.

swimming pool at center parcs

The swimming arena was well heated and you can even go on an open top slide which takes you outdoors. As long as you keep low you can't feel the cold. I have seen bigger wave pools in my time, but it keeps the kids happy.

It's boxing day and I'm keeping things light. Here's 120 seconds of some real world footage.

Take it easy and drink responsibly
All the best, Ryan

Sister's site

I've finished working on my sisters new website last night for her business here in Liverpool. Exclusive Fitness and Beauty Lounge is a ladies only gym based in Childwall, Liverpool. In the future I'll look at putting a MySQL/PHP backend so it can be dynamically update when required.

Cheers
